Replace 51 Base Houses
IMC contracted with Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC SE) for the construction of the 51 new homes, at US Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. This contract also included a portable concrete batch plant for all concrete work and employee berthing facility. The overall scope of the new construction included but was not limited to; slab on grade construction, garages, storage, patios, backyard fencing, landscaping, roofing, gutters, walls, insulation, drywall, flooring, HVAC systems, ducting, system controls, fire protection systems, lightning protection, electrical and plumbing systems, lighting and plumbing fixture packages, stucco, siding, painting, finishes and site work. Individual unit utility meters, walkways, roads, storm drainage, street lighting and utilities. Units were designed to maximize sustainable design, energy and water efficiency to the fullest extent practical.
